Wire Assembly

These wire assemblies are used for multiple purposes, including use as a wire counterpoise for our vertical antennas, as well as wire off the ends of our coils for the NVIS setups (see manual under "documentation" on left navigation bar).

Each wire assembly comes with 32' of insulated wire and is put up on a kite line winder. At the end of the wire is a ring terminal. Also included is our new "counterpoise wire adapter", or "CWA", which connects to the side of the Versatee or the end of the standard coil when using the NVIS setups. The CWA allows for easy tool-free removal in the field.

We also have a longer version wire assembly which is used for our "Low Band Vertical" setups. The total length is 66' and the price is $21. See the drop down box below for ordering.

Buddipole Antennas is a manufacturer of lightweight, versatile hf portable dipole antenna and vertical antenna systems for amateur radio.
